FAQ

Redlands Country Club was founded in 1896.

Yes. Redlands Country Club is a private club that is owned by its members and structured as a 501(c)3 non-profit club. As such you must be a member, or the guest of a member, to enjoy the Club’s facilities.

We are member-owned, which means the Club is operated in accordance with the Bylaws of the membership. The Club is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership, and day-to-day operations are managed by a team of experienced and dedicated professionals led by the Club’s General Manager/Chief Operating Officer. Our members also have a controlling interest in the formation of the Club’s Rules & Regulations.

Although there are many things that set us apart from other private clubs, three things truly make RCC special from other area clubs:

  • OUR WARM AND FRIENDLY MEMBERS: We are one big family, and our members will welcome you with open arms. They realize it can be difficult to meet new people and make new friends, and they want you to feel comfortable right from the start.
  • THE QUALITY OF OUR FACILITIES, THE PROFESSIONALISM OF OUR STAFF: In addition to one of the most well designed and maintained golf courses in the Inland Empire, our members also enjoy a variety of high quality amenities and services. We are committed to exceedingly high standards for the Club’s maintenance, and we take great pride in providing friendly, personalized service to our members and their guests. Our service philosophy dictates nothing short of the highest level of service, professionalism and integrity.
  • OUR CLUB'S LEADERSHIP:  RCC boasts an experienced management team, with extremely high caliber professionals in key positions – all with a proven track record of delivering a first-class private club experience. Our team is here to ensure that the Club is constantly improving the overall member experience.

We offer family memberships that are designed for a wide variety of lifestyles. For those looking to take full advantage of the Club, our Regular Golf membership offers unlimited access to the golf course and the entire Club. For those more interested in the social aspect, we offer Social membership options, some which can include limited golf course use. All memberships include unlimited use of the fitness center, driving range, tennis courts, clubhouse facilities and dining privileges including the Snack Bar. All memberships are eligible for upgrade to a higher category.

While Dr. Alister MacKenzie is famous for designing such notable golf courses as Augusta National and Cypress Point, our members also celebrate the indelible contribution he made to Redlands Country Club nearly a century ago. Our 18-holes of championship golf provide all the splendor and challenge that MacKenzie is known for. And while great shot-making is rewarded, the course is also surprisingly lenient to the higher handicapper. The result is an eminently playable masterpiece for golfers of all skill levels. Impeccably maintained year-round, the golf course is continuously revered for its excellent playing conditions. We also host several opportunities for organized tournaments and friendly competitions.

Not at all. The Club’s Bylaws place a strict limit on the number of golfing memberships to protect member’s ability to easily access playing times and protect pace of play. As such, we offer online tee times for easy booking or you can coordinate times by calling our Pro Shop at any time.

Our Club features two tennis courts.

There are three classes of PGA golf professionals on our staff. Individual and group instruction for all skill levels is available.

The Pro Shop offers the latest in equipment, apparel and accessories. Members receive special pricing that is typically well below what you will find elsewhere. Additionally, our staff of PGA professionals can assist with club fittings and can typically fulfill most special order requests.

In our beautiful 35,000 square foot clubhouse, you can relax in the casual Ember’s Bar, or enjoy a more refined experience in our spacious Oak Room. All of our cuisine is expertly prepared by our classically trained culinary team, and menus are continually updated to reflect the freshest seasonal ingredients. Members and their guests may also enjoy hosting private parties and events in one of our many banquet rooms which are available at special member rates.

Our members enjoy a very active social calendar, throughout the entire year. Our staff hosts regular Wine Dinners, Comedy Nights, Club 1896, as well as holiday celebrations for Easter, Mother’s Day and 4th of July, just to name a few. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, and loads of opportunities for members and their families to meet and make new friends.

The Club has several rooms available for hosting parties, and each is available by reservation. Our members regularly use the Club to host weddings, business meetings, birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, charity events and private dinner parties. Our in-house Catering team is available to assist with event planning, decorations and menu
customization.

Like most private clubs, our Club utilizes a quarterly food and beverage minimum spending requirement for all of our membership categories. This allows us to provide a consistent level of service and pricing in our dining outlets, and helps to keep the overall costs down for our members that utilize the Club. Our minimum spending requirements vary by membership category, and are designed to be easily attained with casual use of the Club relative to your level of membership.
