The Green Committee and the Board of Directors have asked the Pro Shop to educate the membership on where they can and cannot drive their golf carts. Over the next several weeks, we will cover three holes at a time in the email blast.
General Rules:
Golf carts should be kept on the cart paths as much as possible, and it is mandatory around each tee box and green. All four tires must be on the cart path when parked around each tee box and green.
All carts must be kept outside the “No Cart” signs approximately 20-30 yards from each green with the exception of our handicapped golfers who are registered with the Pro Shop as having a blue flag. Those with a “Blue Flag” may go inside the “No Cart” signs but MUST keep their carts at least 30 feet (10 yards) from all greens and tee boxes.
Carts must not be parked in front of greens while putting out. Avoid driving on sprinkler heads and wet areas. Exercise care when driving on all hills, crossing the club driveway, driving through the parking lot and around the clubhouse and snack bar.
Hole #1 Carts must be parked on the cart path to the right of the green. Do not take carts to the left or rear of the green or park in front of the green. Proceed to #2 tee on cart path behind #4 green. Carts are not allowed to drive between #1 green and #4 green. Be aware of cart traffic from #4, and players teeing off on #5.
Hole #2 Carts must be parked on the cart path adjacent to the tee box, and never on the grass behind or left of the tee box. Approach the green from the right side and proceed around back of green. Park on cart path to the right or rear of the green. Carts are not allowed to proceed to the left of the #2 green.
Hole #3 Carts should remain on paved cart path throughout the play of the hole. |
